Sobekon® grew out of over 40 years of hands-on landscaping practice – with one goal: to finally make the facade connection barrier-free, rear-ventilated and simple.
From decades of practice – a new system
Sobekon GmbH, based in Bad Driburg, was founded in 2021. Yet behind the young company lies decades of experience: founder Wolfgang Becker developed the Sobekon® system out of more than 40 years of hands-on landscaping practice – as an answer to an old conflict on the building site: barrier-free access and base protection at the same time.
The result is a plug-in, utility-model-protected bracket system with a made-to-measure grating. In 2024 it was awarded the GaLaBau Innovation Medal by the German Landscaping Association (BGL). More about the system: facade channel and Sobekon® compared.

Gregor Becker
Co-founder & managing director
Grandson of landscaping textbook author Alfred Niesel. After starting out as a business-IT specialist at SAP, in 2021 he took the leap into founding the company together with his father – and today he is responsible for its digital development and finances.
